Crockpots vary but the low setting is typically around 100 degrees and its high setting is around 300 degrees. Crockpot meals are always easy to make, and very tasty as well. Place carrots, potatoes, and apples in crock pot. 2. Add meat and sprinkle with salt, thyme, and onion. Pour cider over meat and cover. 3. Cook on low heat 10-12 hours. Thicken gravy.
